We made it! Thank you all for your tremendous support and faithfulness to us. Tomorrow Joy starts a full therapy schedule first thing in the morning. We are so exited for Joy to benefit from the expertise and vast experience of the staff here at Abbott Courage Kenny Inpatient Rehabilitation.
While I know many of you are anxious to see and show your love to your dear friend, given the intensity of Joy’s program, we are asking for no visitors until we have a chance to assess Joy’s progress and energy level over time.
We know Joy will be greatly encouraged and blessed by each of you and I know she has missed you all so much, we’re just asking for some time to better understand how to best support her as well as the best way to encourage her, allow access to her, and yet balance her emotional needs with her physical recovery needs.
As always we covet and thank you and continue to ask for your prayers for Joy’s healing of body, mind, and spirit. Thank you also for the miracle of today making our home coming possible.
