Joy is now going to have surgery on her broken wrist, however, they have moved the surgery to tomorrow the 1st at the end of the surgery day, so that they will not be rushed. We've been praying that if surgery would provide the better outcome that would end up being the choice.
While Joy’s responsiveness is still limited, on the other hand, I was just told that she is breathing completely on her own now, which at this stage, should be a positive sign. She's still intubated and connected to the respirator, but breathing on her own.
We have been so blessed and materially helped by our friends Joe and Jan Swenson and Su Roland who dropped everything and flew here to help and support us.
Alyx and Marc arrive tomorrow and I’m sure Joy will sense their presence. So thankful for their visit.
